I am working on a project related to the copper homeostasis and virulence of Pseudomonas in nematodes.
What brought you to WPI?
Growing up in the Worcester area and having a fascination for science , WPI had always been on my radar. I am enjoying the emphasis on project-based learning to help students prepare for real world challenges, as well as WPI's commitment to the advancement of all STEM fields.

What are your research interests?
I want to combine my interest in genetics, molecular biology, and microbiology. Working in Professor Argüello’s lab has provided me that opportunity.

What will you be doing immediately following your time at WPI?
Following graduation, I plan on working for a biotech company, as well as pursuing my master’s degree.

What are your long term professional goals?
After having procured enough experience, my hope is to develop a career in applied biological research.
